Barron County Board of Supervisors
Candidate: Lauren Wentz, Rice Lake, District 21
I am running for County Board of Supervisors to preserve and develop the communities of Barron County. I will help ensure that everyone who lives, works and plays here is welcome and able to thrive. I bring a spirit of cooperation, a strong work ethic and professional expertise in natural systems to this work.
My top priorities as a member of the Board of Supervisors will be three areas:
- Growth of small businesses
- Protection of natural resources, includes maximum access for people outdoors
- Broad access to and support of Barron County services -- public health, public works, and law enforcement.
Professional Background
- 27-year biology teacher at UW-Whitewater, UW-Eau Claire/Barron County
- Training instructor for Wisconsin Solid Waste Combustor
- Office administrator in public, private and nonprofit settings

My love for the people and places of rural Wisconsin will make me an effective member of the Barron County Board.
