Rice Lake Public Library
2 E. Marshall St, Rice Lake (map)
Over 30 local residents invited Rep. Duffy to discuss issues facing our nation at the Rice Lake Library. Unfortunately, he declined their invitation… Nevertheless, they persisted!
Having already booked the room and not wanting to waste an opportunity for civic engagement, these citizens are holding an "Empty-Chair" Town Hall. In lieu of an actual Congressman, you will be able direct your comments, questions, and concerns to a cardboard cutout sporting his iconic red flannel shirt. Everything will be videotaped and shared with Rep. Duffy and the media.
This is an opportunity to stand up for needs of all the people of the 7th District. It seems that every morning we awake to something new gone terribly wrong in Washington. Rep. Duffy needs to hear from us, even if he is unable to join us in person.
