Also, lunch is included in your registration.

Featured Speakers:

Resolutions to be Considered

Resolutions will be posted here when they become available. In the meantime, you can contact your local County Democratic Party for more info or to get involved in the drafting of resolutions.

Lodging Info:

Some attendees may want to stay over in Rice Lake the evening of April 24th. There is no "block" of rooms reserved, but there are several reasonably-priced hotels available near WITC.

Do I need to be a member of the Democratic Party?

No. Guests who share the values of the Democratic Party are welcome to register and attend the convention.

However, only party members are allowed to vote on resolutions..

At any rate, you should become a member if you're not already. It's affordable (only $25/yr), it supports a good cause, and it gives you a say in the direction of the party. Party leadership --from the local-level all the way up to the DNC-- come from, and are elected by, our party members.

So what are you waiting for? Click here to join today!

Is this where I go to become a delegate to the Democratic National Convention?

Well, kinda... but not directly.

If you want to be a delegate to the DNC in Milwaukee, read the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's Delegate Selection Page. There's paperwork you need to complete before 4/17.

While the District Convention doesn't factor directly into the presidential delegate process, it is a great opportunity to meet a whole bunch of the people who will vote on May 17th to select the delegates from our district. The 7th District will be sending 5 delegates and 2 alternates to Milwaukee, so meeting some voters ahead of time could come in handy.
