About Us

Mission:

The Democratic Party of Barron County promotes people for public office who help families enjoy the great life in wonderful Barron County, Wisconsin. Democrats value good jobs with pay and benefits that sustain families, great public schools that prepare our kids for bright futures, and public policies that give every citizen their rightful vote. Democrats value fairness and the American spirit that everyone should have a chance in the Land of Opportunity. Democrats value the farming life, the clean air and the clean water that make Barron County such a great place to live.

Our County Party meets regularly on the third Thursday of every month. Monthly meetings usually start at 6:00pm and are held at 16 W. John St. in Rice Lake (map). Please check our Calendar for exact times and locations for all of our events. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to meeting you!

We also hold monthly "Donuts with Democrats" gatherings in both Rice Lake and Cumberland, as well appearances at local parades, festivals, and the Barron County Fair... not to mention plenty of meet-and-greets and volunteer opportunities during campaign seasons. We are a very active party and our hope is that there is something to fit everyone's interests and schedule.

Also check out our Get Involved page to volunteer your time and talents to advocate for Progressive Values in Barron County.
